The GeekPCBs Stern MPU-200 Dual 5101 NVRAM replaces the two original 5101 RAM ICs located at U8 and U13 with a single module.
Instead of purchasing two separate NVRAM replacements, this combined design handles both memory locations in one unit—saving money and simplifying your upgrade.

Built-in +5V Power Indicator
We’ve added a red LED to our new NVRAM range, giving you a convenient visual power indicator that these vintage MPU boards originally lacked. The LED illuminates when the module’s +5V supply is present, making it easy to check power at a glance.
The LED indicates power is present; use a multimeter to confirm the voltage is within specification.
Installation
Remove both original 5101 RAM ICs from U8 and U13, then fit the dual NVRAM module in their place, with the machine off.
