We recognize the growing difficulty in sourcing the old axial capacitors and high voltage transistors, which often lack suitable replacements.
To address this issue, we have redesigned the Williams System 11, 11A Power Supply board (D-8345-xxx) using modern, readily available components. Our updated design features a high-quality Linea 5-volt regulator built around the standard LM723 chip. We’ve also added a trim potentiometer for precise adjustment of the output voltage, ranging between 4.7V and 5.4V.
During testing, the voltage is typically set to 5.08V for optimal stability and performance.
This specific version of the Williams System 11, 11A Power Supply is designed for later System 11 and 11A machines, which originally included a “jumper” for GI illumination and remote-mounted fuses. Earlier models used a fuse holder and a 20 Amp fuse. This board replaces the board-mounted fuse with a jumper to match the updated configuration found in later games.
The board comes with a 4-pin plug (yellow/white wires) and includes the additional plug and pins required to replace damaged components in the GI system wiring.
Built to resemble the original power board, it ensures a seamless Plug ‘n Play installation while preserving the authentic look of your machine.
Please verify that your existing power supply matches the image shown, especially the area highlighted in the yellow circle. Fuse F4 is not included — please consult the service manual for the correct value.
We offer three variants of the Williams System 11, 11A Power Supply, and each can be custom-built to suit your machine if needed.
